I feel like I've been taking a lot of abuse lately.
So here's a positive:
Student: "Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?"
Me (bewildered): "Um, it's my grandmother's birthday..."
Student: "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come see what I do when I'm not acting up in class. I have a baseball game tomorrow if you wanted to watch. You said you liked baseball."
Me (taken aback. Why is he being so nice?): "I love baseball. Can I come next Saturday?"
Student: "Sure. Have a good weekend." Hugs me.
Whoa.
